I read other people like the results of this suppliment. I wish I could make the same claim. However, the next day after taking these, I was grumpy as a bear. I stopped for three days and my emotions returned to normal, took again, and became grouchy and very short-tempered. I did this for two weeks on and off to give it a fair test. I take no other drugs nor do I drink alcohol. Some content in this product make me testy and I had to stop taking it. I give it 2 stars because the price is great!
The main component “Policosanol” has been found to be ineffective anyway. Adding policosanol to Lipitor failed to produce any further reduction in lipid levels compared to Lipitor alone. Policosanol is becoming a bad joke. More importantly, its lack of effectiveness is potentially dangerous when unsuspecting people use it as a “natural” cholesterol-lowering supplement.
